Get ready for Asia's own version of America's Next Top Model. To be screened every Tuesday and Thursday online (www.supermodelme.tv) from June 16, Supermodelme shows 10 aspiring models (right) from the region, including Singapore, vying for $10,000 and prizes from sponsors such as Redken and M.A.C.
The winner also gets a cover shoot with Jetstar Asia Airways' in-flight magazine. Created by local multimedia production firm Refinery Media, the 20-part reality series will be hosted by Singapore veteran model Charmaine Harn (above in black vest).
Local industry insiders like fashion photographer Geoff Ang and Nuyou editor-in-chief Grace Lee will play judges but the final winner will be determined by viewers' votes.
Besides Web chats, viewers can get details on what contestants are wearing by clicking on the clothes.
